Bill and Cindy Swank are the owners and operators. We have both loved horses all our lives and over the past several years have specialized in the American Paint Horse and now we are attempting to raise good quality Quarter Horses.
We have found a beautiful black and white DNA tested APHA double homozygous stallion. Homozygous for the tobiano gene and the dark gene. Docs Bar Nine!!
We are raising a Cremello Quarter Horse Stallion that we hope to someday breed for color, confirmation, and the ability to pass on excellent traits to his offspring.
2004 Our first year of breeding produced 3 foals. Two black and white and one chocolate and white, all tobiano paints and all nicely marked. Two of these were from solid sorrel mares.
2005 brought us 9 foals, 6 of these are fillies and 3 colts. Of these 9 foals 5 of them were Black and White, one Brown and White, one Blue Roan and White and one Dun and White. 5 of these broodmares were SOLID!!!!!
2006 was our filly year. 3 of them. 2 black and white and 1 bay and white. We have finally decided to keep one of our babies. DBN Tinkerbell will be staying with us for the now. Her and Diamond both had a blue eye. Doc has never thrown a blue eye before until 2006. Both are toveros meaning they have marking from both tobiano and overo paints.
2007 produced one foal from Doc, a gray and white colt that we are calling Apache. We also have another colt from our Quarter Horse mare that is cremello in color. We are only breeding 2 mares per year. That way we can give each of them our time and patience when they need it most.
